Aloe Ease Overview
Aloe Ease is a product developed by Dr. Loren Ritter, who proudly calls himself the ‘Doody Doctor’. Ritter has been featured on a variety of radio and TV shows, selling his book, ‘They Call Me Dr. Doody’ and his product, Aloe Ease. Dr. Ritter has twenty years experience in natural health and became aware of the benefits of Aloe Vera through battling his own illnesses (allergies and asthma).
Aloe Ease has a very accessible and informational web site, which has the usual features such as an FAQ section, ingredients list and ordering details. There is not a lot of independent information regarding Aloe Ease however, and it has not been listed on any of the major colon/ detox review websites.
The Aloe Ease website provides additional information about the benefits of colon cleansing in overall health and the particular gentle, soothing and healing qualities of the Aloe Vera plant.
Details Of Aloe Ease
This product is available in two forms, Aloe Ease powder and Aloe Ease tablets. It doesn’t make it clear but it is assumed that the user can take whichever form suits them best. The powder has a very long list of ingredients with sorbitol and psyllium husk at the top of the list and surprisingly, Aloe Vera near the bottom. It also contains cascara sagrada and senna, two substances that some people prefer to avoid. In all, the product contains thirty ‘synergistically balance’ herbs and enzymes.
The Aloe Ease tablets contain roughly the same ingredients, again with Aloe Vera near the end of the list. The powder is to be taken 2 teaspoons at a time with 30 doses per bottle and the tablets, again, to be taken 2 at a time, come in 90 doses. There is another product available to complement the Body and Colon Cleanse, which is the maintenance program, a fiber and probiotic blend featuring psyllium and lactobacillus acidophilus, to promote ‘good’ bacteria in the intestinal tract.
Aloe Ease Advantages
- The ingredients in the product are all natural.
- There is a lot of positive feedback surrounding the product.
- The product is easy to take with no complicated routines.
- The company website is quite informative regarding overall colonic health.
- Dr. Ritter appears to be genuine is his aim to help and inform people about colon health.
- Testimonials on the website are from medical doctors.
- The product is in the mid-price range costing $34.95 per bottle.
Aloe Ease Disadvantages
- There is no explanation of which product to take, the powder or capsules.
- Despite the name, Aloe seems to be a small part of the whole product.
- The ‘Dr. Doody’ image may stop people from taking this product seriously and the affiliated ‘Rate My Doody’ website is in bad taste.
Aloe Ease – The Bottom Line
Even if this product worked, it is unlikely that it is due to the amount of aloe contained and more likely the inclusion of psyllium husk and a variety of other herbs. It is unfortunate that the product has such a tacky image; it certainly seems like more of a gimmick and not to be taken as seriously as some of the other colon cleansing products.
