Colosan
Overview
Colosan is probably one of the simplest products on the market where colon cleansing is concerned.
It is marketed mainly as a cleansing tool, rather than a dieting product, although weight loss often occurs after use. It is also touted as a good alternative to Homozon, a similar ‘oxygen-therapy’ product. Colosan is more widely available and about a quarter of the price.
There is not a great deal of information on the internet regarding Colosan, although being so simple, it doesn’t really require a lot of explanation. The Colosan website briefly outlines what the product does and provides the product label information. No FAQ’s are given, nor are there any testimonials from past customers. Customer reviews can be found on some retail sites, such as Amazon, where the product has received generally good reviews. The only complaints were that it is not a gentle product, which is something that it doesn’t really claim to be anyway. The Colosan company are very upfront and straightforward about the fact that the consumer will experience liquid stools upon the first dose and should ensure having easy access to a washroom.

The Product
Colosan is a proprietary blend of oxides of Magnesium, which releases cleansing oxygen into the intestines. In order to work efficiently, the consumer needs to produce a certain amount of stomach acid and in order to do this, a dose of Colosan must be immediately followed with a glass of lemon juice or Apple cider vinegar.
The dosage instructions for Colosan are very simple and vary depending on the type of cleanse the user wishes to achieve.
Initially, Colosan should be taken 2-3 times a day, by mixing 1 teaspoon into 12 oz of water and followed with the juice of ½ a lemon (or vinegar). For those that do not like the ‘chalky’ taste, a little lemon juice or honey can be mixed in with the Colosan drink. As a maintenance program, Colosan can be taken once or twice a week indefinitely. The company recommends that it is always taken on an empty stomach, preferably first thing in the morning or before bed.
