Life Cleanse is a product that is taking advantage of the colon cleansing trend that has become popular in North America. While it is true that colon cancer and related diseases are on the rise in this part of the world, a number of products like Life Cleanse claim to actually be able to help prevent illness in addition to reducing weight, increasing energy and even producing clearer skin.
The Life Cleanse website is a one page of information that does not provide many details about the product. It does explain the dangers of an unhealthy intestinal tract and what that may lead to, including chronic constipation, IBS and colitis. It uses quotes and logos from media sources such as MSNBC and CBS to illustrate the point, where it is stated that over 112,000 North Americans are diagnosed with colon cancer per year. The site goes on to explain how,
through the prevalence of processed food and lack of activity, so many people now require internal cleansing and that, along with the benefits stated above, Life Cleanse will also decrease bloating, gas and clear toxins from the colon. Unlike some other colon cleansers, the company does not present itself as a weight loss product, although it is likely that that would be the temporary result of many forms of cleansing.
The Life Cleanse site is remarkably similar both in design and text to another cleanser, Total Cleanse, although the manufacturers are supposedly different (Life Cleanse being manufactured by FWM Labs). Like this other brand, Life Cleanse does not mention any clinical trials that may have been performed on the product, nor do they provide a customer FAQ section. Only one very short customer testimonial is shown, accompanied by a very ‘model-like’ photo.

There are absolutely no ingredients mentioned for Life Cleanse although it seems that it may contain a certain amount of fiber and antioxidants. No product label is shown and there is no indication as to whether the ingredients are all natural or suitable for vegetarians and people with food allergies. In addition to this, no dosage instructions are given and it is not known how long the customer would have to take the product before seeing results.

The Bottom Line
Apart from the fact that very little is known about this product or its ingredients, there have been too many complaints about this brand to be able to recommend it. It seems that the company FWM Labs is also behind a number of other dubious products sold online all of which have received complaints.
In fact, the terms and conditions section on the Life Cleanse website actually refers to another product called Acai Elite and doesn’t mention Life Cleanse at all.
As mentioned earlier, the information for Life Cleanse is almost dentical to Total Cleanse the only difference being that not only does Life Cleanse offer even less detail about itself, it is even more expensive.
